  • Offices based in Botany (SYD) and Wallsend (HNE), with onsite parking but work is primarily based within the community
  • On Call Roster + Allowances
  • Full time 37.5 hrs pw, Salary Sacrifice options for NFP including Vehicle + Fuel Card
  • On-going professional supervision and training
  • 4weeks Leave, increasing to 5weeks after 2 yrs continued service

Expressions of Interest (EOI) are welcomed for qualified and experienced SOCIAL WORKERS to provide placement support to foster carers 'supervising' their practice to ensure children and young people in out of home care receive a high quality service.

We look for the following attributes:

  • Have proven prior experience of the Out Of Home Care/Foster Care sector
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of Trauma and the associated behaviours and of Attachment Theory 
  • Possess an open clean Australian drivers licence (specific to the state this post is advertised)
  • Must be formally qualified in Social Work, with a minimum of 3 years in the field
  • Have strong case management experience and be experienced in report writing
  • Have excellent time management skills, be a self-starter, comfortable with taking initiative and be a creative problem solver
  • Be high energy and share in our organisations vision and values
  • Bring fresh ideas and a strong focus to providing a high quality service to our families and children & young people
  • You will also be required to satisfactorily clear statutory checks, as part of the recruitment process
