About the role

As the Recruitment Administrator you will be responsible for the maintenance of the Key Assets database to ensure Recruitment and Panel information relating to the process of enquiry through carer application, assessment and approval is accurate and up to date.

You will assist with the development and delivery of the recruitment and marketing strategy in order to meet recruitment (of Carers) and child placement targets whilst adhering to Key Assets policies and procedures and in accordance with child safe procedures. 

Core Tasks

  • To respond to telephone enquiries from potential carer applicants in a professional and encouraging manner.
  • Provide ongoing information and advice to Key Assets team members in relation to recruitment, assessment and panel information.
  • Participate in organising and supporting meetings and training events as required including information sessions; staff meetings; Skills to Care and other staff and carer training; networking forums; etc.
  • Undertake the booking of facilities and organising catering for Skills to Care training, Panel meetings and other Key Assets meetings, as required.
  • To undertake general administrative and reception duties including photocopying and filing in relation to recruitment, marketing, assessment and panel, and to other Key Assets services.
  • Maintain inventory of marketing and informational materials and to keep the storage of these in order.
  • Respond sensitively and professionally to the children, young people, carers and families with whom Key Assets works.
  • To keep the Recruitment and Panel Manager informed of work in progress.

Other Responsibilities

  • To support the Team Manager, Recruitment and Panel in completing the monthly statistical return as required.
  • To inform the senior person available with Key Assets WA immediately of any child protection matter.
  • To work flexibly and to deadlines to meet the changing demands of Key Assets work.

 The successful candidate will

  • Posses the relevant tertiary qualifications required for community services support work
  • Be highly energised and have a passion for delivering a high standard of service 
  • Be highly committed, resourceful, possess excellent organisational, admin and communication skills
  • Current Working with Children Card and be willing to undergo statutory checks
