About the Role:

The Audit lead role forms part of the National Support Services team, providing support and advice to our state teams to enhance their day-to-day services. The primary focus of the role is to enhance the ongoing continual improvement of governance, compliance and quality of our service provision. The role will be responsible for providing human service audit coordination and oversight, monitoring advice and coordinating audit responses, whilst partnering with stakeholders and jurisdictions to enable compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities include scoping, planning and performing internal audits, preparing reports and reviewing external audit recommendations to assist in the preparation of submissions to government/regulatory bodies. Duties also include participation in investigations or reviews of current practices.

About You:

Your experience is both theoretical and practical in readying organisations to pass accreditation assessments and internal audits along with your proven knowledge, skills, and experience of quality improvement, report writing, research, relationship building and education.

Preferably, you will have working knowledge of the relevant legislation pertaining to humans’ services, Out of Home Care, NDIS and Family Services.
